I - love - this - bike. It lets this 60+ year old, out of shape, grandma feel like she’s 12 years old again flying down the road on her Schwinn 3 speed! Except this has 8 gears and 3 pedal assist settings. Two words. Torque sensor. That is the pedal assist you want. It feels really natural, no jerking and jolting, and it lets me go anywhere I want. Anywhere. And more than that, torque sensor keeps me pedaling. When I’ve ridden cadence sensor assist, it would discourage me from pedaling. I want to do some of the work here. Beautiful, well built, tough and so much fun.

So far, I love this bike. I haven’t had it real long, but I’ve ridden it almost 90 miles already. I no longer worry about what kind of hills we will run in to or getting too tired. What I like best though is that you have the ability to ride it like a regular bike, without the assist and only use the assist when needed.

I love this bike!!!! We are surrounded by hills and it is so nice to be able to ride with confidence that i CAN make it up the hill. i will recommend Aventon to everyone.

Game-changing is an understatement! NYC streets are made for bikes. After losing my precious car, I was considering all my options. After learning about the tech behind e-bikes, I researched brand after brand, and spoke with local bike shops and authorized retailers. Aventon has an excellent track record, great street cred, and is beautifully designed! They appear to be built to last, and local shops have not seen major issues, even years after model launch. I’m a huge fan of my new way to get around, and happy I found Aventon. My Pace 500.3 is faster than getting around locally in my car, and is able to traverse dense city streets and meander on fun trails. Highly recommend!
