Bottom line: After more than two years of wearing the Vuori men’s line in regular rotation — Sunday Performance joggers, Kore shorts, Meta pants, and a drawer of Strato Tech tees and polos — we rate Vuori a 9/10 and re-buy it with our own money. The fabric still looks and feels like new, the Strato Tech polo is the softest polo we’ve ever tested, and the only real knock is the price.

Our Vuori rating after 2+ years: 9/10
We don’t hand out 9s casually. This one comes from years of regular wear and regular washing across their whole men’s range — not a two-week test. Here’s the short version:
- Durability: No pilling. No fading. After two-plus years of rotation and machine washing, every piece still looks close to new. That’s rare at any price.
- Feel: Vuori’s signature is softness. Where Lululemon feels crisp and technical, Vuori feels broken-in from day one — a relaxed, coastal kind of comfortable.
- Fit: True to size across the line. Order your normal size.
- The catch: Price. This is premium-tier money, and it’s the one thing that keeps Vuori from being an automatic recommendation for everyone.
What we’ve actually worn (and for how long)
Strato Tech Polo — the standout
Let’s start with the surprise. We own several Strato Tech polos in different colors, and it is — flatly — the softest polo we’ve tested. We’ve reviewed Bluffworks, Fresh Clean Threads, Everlane, and Stitch Golf polos, and none of them touch the Strato Tech on pure fabric feel. At $68, it isn’t cheap for a polo — but it undercuts most of the premium performance field.

Sunday Performance Jogger
The one everybody asks about, and it earns the reputation. At $110 it’s an investment, and it’s the piece that best shows off the Vuori feel: soft enough to sleep in, put-together enough for a coffee run or a flight. Ours have been through years of washes and still hold their shape and color.
Kore Shorts
At $68 (unlined) or $78 (lined), the Kore is the do-everything short — gym, errands, backyard. If you’re comparing it against our other tested shorts, the Faherty All Day Short looks more tailored, but the Kore is the softer, sportier wear.
Meta Pants
At $128 (classic fit; $138 athletic slim), the Meta is Vuori’s everyday pant. If the Lululemon ABC Pant is the office-ready benchmark, the Meta is its weekend-first cousin — a little more relaxed, a little less structured, every bit as well made.

The 2-year durability report
This is the part most reviews can’t tell you, because most reviews are written in week one. Ours is simple: after two-plus years of regular wear and regular machine washing, our Vuori pieces show no pilling and no fading. Seams are intact, waistbands haven’t gone wavy, and the polos still look presentable enough for dinner out. Plenty of premium athleisure doesn’t survive year one of that treatment.
Vuori vs Lululemon (the short version)
Same quality tier, different personalities. Vuori is softer; Lululemon is sharper. Vuori feels relaxed and broken-in from the first wear; Lululemon feels crisper, more structured, more technical. If your life is offices and travel days, Lululemon’s polish wins. If your life is school runs, workouts, and working from home, Vuori is the one you’ll reach for. Pros and cons
- ✅ Softest fabrics we’ve tested in this category — the Strato Tech polo especially
- ✅ Genuinely durable: like-new after 2+ years of regular washing
- ✅ True to size across the line
- ✅ Works for workouts and normal life without looking like gym clothes
- ❌ Price is steep — this is premium money, and cheaper alternatives exist for some pieces
Who should buy Vuori (and who shouldn’t)
Buy it if comfort is the thing you optimize for, you keep clothes for years, and you’d rather pay once for something that survives the wash. Skip it if you’re price-sensitive — our Vuori alternatives roundup covers cheaper brands that get you part of the way there, and Quince remains our favorite budget swap in the pants category.
FAQ
Does Vuori run true to size?
Yes. Across joggers, shorts, pants, tees, and polos, we’ve found Vuori true to size. Order what you normally wear.
Does Vuori pill or fade in the wash?
Ours hasn’t — and that’s after two-plus years of regular machine washing across the whole line. It’s the most wash-resilient athleisure we’ve owned.
Is Vuori worth it over Lululemon?
They’re equals on quality with different feels — Vuori softer and more relaxed, Lululemon crisper and more structured. Pick by the life you lead, not by quality. Full comparison here.
