Lululemon Dupes That Actually Work: 12 We Tested for Half the Price

Tested & Reviewed by
Here at WeTried. It, we're just an average family, facing the same online ads and product promises as you. Our reviews come from real-life use, providing you with trustworthy, down-to-earth advice on what to buy (and what to skip).

TL;DR — Lululemon dupes are not the same as Lululemon alternatives. Dupes copy the look and feel cheaply; alternatives offer comparable quality at sometimes-similar prices. After testing 12+ dupes across our family, our top picks: CRZ Yoga Naked Feeling Leggings ($28–$45) for the closest Align-legging dupe, Quince Ultra-Stretch Chinos (~$50) for the closest ABC Pant dupe, and Aerie OFFLINE for the budget-Align option you can try in a mall.

Skip Halara, SHEIN, and Temu unless you accept inconsistent quality and ethical concerns — we explain why we didn’t test those below. If you want quality matches at higher price points, see our Lululemon alternatives roundup and ABC Pant alternatives instead. — Mrs. We Tried It

Dupes vs alternatives — the actual difference

Before we get to the picks, this distinction matters for your shopping cart. Dupes are the cheap-twins — same look, similar feel, often half the price. Quality is hit-or-miss; you’re trading durability for price. Alternatives are different brands that solve the same problem, often at comparable Lululemon prices but with their own quality tier — think Athleta, Vuori, Rhone, Beyond Yoga. They’re not pretending to be Lulu; they’re competing with Lulu.

If you want quality matches and don’t mind paying $80–$120 per piece: read our 10 Best Lululemon Alternatives (women-leaning) or Best Lululemon Alternatives for Men. If you want $30 leggings that look like the $98 ones, you’re in the right place. Keep reading.

Best Lululemon Align legging dupes

Align is Lulu’s most-duped product, full stop. The Nulu fabric (buttery, brushed-feel, four-way stretch) is the holy grail of legging fabrics. The price is $98–$118 per pair. Below are the dupes that come closest in our testing.

CRZ Yoga Naked Feeling — Best Align dupe overall

Price: $28–$45 (Amazon Prime) · We tested: 25-inch and 28-inch inseams, 3 colors, 100+ wash cycles

If you’re going to buy ONE Align dupe, this is it. The Nuleather Naked Feeling line is the closest fabric-feel match to Nulu we’ve tested across 12 different dupes. Buttery hand-feel, no see-through (squat tests pass), and the rise is comparable to Lulu’s high-rise Align. The construction is the give-away — CRZ uses contrast-stitch flatlock seams that you can spot up close. Worth it for the $50–$70 savings.

What CRZ doesn’t get right: Lululemon’s ribbed waistband shape. CRZ’s waistband is flat and rolls down on you in deep stretches. Lulu’s contoured waistband stays put. If you do a lot of inverted yoga, the rolling-waistband annoyance might push you back to the original.

CRZ YOGA Womens Naked Feeling Leggings
$26.00

Closest fabric-feel match to Lululemon's Nulu we've tested across 12 dupes. Buttery hand-feel, squat-proof, no see-through. Available in 25-inch and 28-inch inseams across dozens of colors.

The flat waistband rolls down in deep stretches where Lulu's contoured waistband stays put — but for $50–$70 savings vs the Align, an acceptable trade-off.

Colorfulkoala High Waisted — Budget Align dupe

Price: $22–$28 · We tested: 2 pairs, 6 months

Colorfulkoala is the “cheaper than CRZ” Amazon dupe that most Reddit r/lululemon threads land on. The fabric is a touch thicker than CRZ Nuleather, which is good for compression but slightly less Align-buttery. Squat-proof confirmed. Color selection is more limited than CRZ.

Buy if your budget is under $30 and you can live with a less-buttery feel. Skip if you want the closest possible Align-fabric match.

The cheaper-than-CRZ Amazon dupe most-cited on r/lululemon threads. Slightly thicker fabric than CRZ Naked Feeling — better compression, slightly less Align-buttery. Squat-proof confirmed.

Aerie OFFLINE Real Me — Mall-accessible dupe

Price: $30–$50 (often on sale at Aerie / American Eagle stores)

Aerie’s OFFLINE Real Me line is the mall option for people who want to try-before-buy. The fabric is closer to Lululemon’s Wunder Train than to Align (more compression, less buttery), but the cut and waistband are flattering across more body shapes than the Amazon dupes. Frequent 50% off sales drop these to $20–$25.

Old Navy PowerSoft — Ultra-budget starter

Price: $15–$25 · We tested: Multiple pairs over 3 years (kid + adult sizes)

Old Navy PowerSoft is the “your kid is going to grow out of these in 8 months anyway” legging. Surprisingly squat-proof at this price, decent fabric for the cost, and Old Navy runs 40–50% off promotions roughly every 14 days. Not a true Align dupe (the fabric is more polyester-feel than buttery), but the price-to-acceptable-quality ratio is unbeatable.

A super value pick
Old Navy PowerSoft Leggings
$19.99

The 'your kid is going to grow out of these in 8 months anyway' legging. Surprisingly squat-proof at this price, decent fabric for the cost.

Not a true Align dupe (more polyester-feel than buttery), but Old Navy's 40–50% off promotions every two weeks make the price-to-quality ratio unbeatable in the under-$25 tier.

Best Lululemon Wunder Train dupes (high-compression)

If you’re working out hard (running, HIIT, weight-training) you want compression more than buttery. Wunder Train is Lululemon’s answer to that — thicker fabric, more squat-proof, less roll. Dupes for this category are easier than Align because the engineering bar is lower.

90 Degree by Reflex (Costco, Target, Amazon)

Price: $18–$25 · We tested: 4 pairs from Costco, 2 years

The Costco 2-pack at $24 is one of those deals that feels too-good-to-be-true and isn’t. The Power Flex Yoga Pant is closer to Wunder Train than Align — thicker fabric, more compression, less buttery. Holds up across 50+ wash cycles in our experience. Sizing runs slightly large, so size down.

Best Lululemon ABC Pant dupes (men’s)

The men’s side of the dupes equation centers on the ABC Pant — Lululemon’s $128 do-everything men’s pant. We’ve covered alternatives in depth in our ABC Pant Alternatives Ultimate Guide and our in-depth ABC Pant Review. Below are the dupes specifically — the look-alikes at 30–50% of the price.

Quince Ultra-Stretch 24/7 Chino — Best ABC dupe

Price: ~$50 · We tested: 6 months ownership, 50+ wash cycles

Quince’s Ultra-Stretch Chino is the closest ABC Pant fabric match we’ve found at less than half the price. Same four-way stretch, similar matte-faced finish, comparable weight. Construction is slightly less premium (seams aren’t as clean, waistband doesn’t have the same elastic memory) but the fabric and silhouette pass for ABC at a glance. The Quince Chino is now a wardrobe staple in our house.

What’s missing vs the original: ABC’s gusseted construction (the “Anti-Ball Crushing” engineering) genuinely is more comfortable for long-day wear. If you’re sitting for 8 hours in a meeting, you’ll feel the difference. For weekends and travel, Quince is a fine swap.

An amazing ABC Pants Dupe
Quince Ultra-Stretch 24/7 Chinos

$49.90

We've found a great, cheaper alternative to Lululemon ABC Pants. We've searched before and came up short... until now. They are comfortable, lightweight and about half the price as ABC pants.

The only downside? The colors are a little unique.

Banana Republic Traveler — ABC Trouser dupe

Price: $70–$98 (BR runs 40% off frequently) · We tested: 1 pair, 18 months

The Banana Republic Traveler line is the closest dupe to Lulu’s ABC Trouser (the dressier, smoother-front sibling of the Classic). Wool blend with stretch, dressier silhouette, and the kind of pants you wear when ABC Classic is too casual. BR’s frequent 40% off sales drop this into the $50–$60 range, which makes it competitive with Quince for office wear.

Banana Republic Traveler Pant
$70–$98

Wool-blend stretch trouser — closest dupe for Lulu's ABC Trouser (the dressier sibling of the ABC Classic). Smoother front, dressier silhouette, comfortable for all-day wear.

BR runs 40% off promotions frequently — drops these into the $50–$60 range and makes them competitive with Quince for office wear.

Amazon ABC Pant dupes — the mixed bag

Amazon hosts dozens of generic men’s stretch chinos sold by white-label brands (CRZ Yoga has a men’s line; INFLATION; LookbookStore; etc.) with very inconsistent quality. We’ve tested two pairs and returned both for fit issues. The fabric quality is acceptable for the $25–$40 price; the cut/sizing is the problem — runs wildly inconsistent across colors and shipments.

Skip these unless you have a specific in-stock-now need and willingness to return. Quince at $50 with consistent sizing is the better budget play.

Define Jacket + accessory dupes

Lululemon’s Define Jacket has spawned its own dupe ecosystem. Same fitted silhouette, same buttery soft-shell vibe, same four-way stretch — at half the price. Worth a quick mention since it’s a frequent dupe-search.

  • QUEENIEKE Sports Define Jacket ($40 on Amazon) — the most-cited Define dupe with 1,700+ five-star reviews. Same silhouette + thumbholes + zippered front pockets at one-third Lulu’s $118 price; 40+ colorways. Slim fit, so size up if you prefer looser.
  • Athleta Sundown ($98–$128) — not a dupe but a quality alternative; runs Sundown sales periodically.
  • Old Navy PowerPress Jacket ($30–$50) — budget option; not as fitted but warmer.
QUEENIEKE Women Sports Jacket

The most-cited Amazon dupe for Lululemon's Define Jacket. Same fitted silhouette, similar buttery soft-shell vibe, same four-way stretch — at half the price.

Fabric is slightly less premium than the original Define, but the silhouette and feel pass for Lulu at a glance. Great for everyday athleisure layering.

Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag dupes

The most TikTok-viral Lululemon item of the last three years — and the one with the most aggressive dupe market. The original Everywhere Belt Bag is $38, comes in dozens of colors, and is sold-out in the popular ones constantly. Dupes are $10–$20 and most of them are genuinely close enough that you have to look hard to tell the difference.

  • Amazon Telena / Bostanten Belt Bag ($12–$18) — the most-cited Belt Bag dupe on Reddit and TikTok. Same silhouette, same zipper construction, slightly thinner nylon. We’ve owned two for a year+; held up fine through travel, gym, and one toddler-yanking incident.
  • Old Navy Crossbody Belt Bag ($12–$20) — in-store option. Frequently 50% off; lands in the $7–$10 range during Old Navy sales. Our pick if you’d rather not buy from Amazon.
  • Athleta Belt Bag ($35–$48) — not really a dupe, an alternative. More premium hardware, slightly larger than Lulu’s, often on sale. Good if you wanted “Lulu but not Lulu” without the dupe-ness.
Telena Crossbody Belt Bag
$9.99

The most-cited Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag dupe on Reddit and TikTok. Same silhouette, same zipper construction, slightly thinner nylon — but at half the price of Lulu's $38 Everywhere Belt Bag.

We've owned two for over a year through travel, gym, and one toddler-yanking incident. The trade-off is acceptable.

The honest take: the Everywhere Belt Bag is one of the few Lulu items where the dupes are genuinely indistinguishable from the original at half the price. The original’s only real edge is the colorway range and the Lulu logo (if that matters to you).

Lululemon Scuba Hoodie dupes

The Scuba Half-Zip is Lulu’s $128 oversized cotton-blend hoodie that took over college campuses around 2022 and never left. The dupes have followed.

  • Free People Movement “Sandy” / “Sandy Spirit” ($78–$98) — not a true dupe (closer in price), but the most-cited “Scuba alternative.” Slightly thicker fleece, same oversized silhouette. Holds up better than Lulu’s Scuba in our experience.
  • Aerie OFFLINE Half-Zip ($45–$60) — mall-accessible Scuba dupe. Frequent 40% off promotions. Fabric is thinner than Scuba but the silhouette and color range pass.
  • Amazon “oversized half-zip” brands ($30–$50) — CRZ Yoga and other Amazon athleisure brands have entered the Scuba-dupe game. Quality is mixed. We tested one ($35 from CRZ); it pilled noticeably after 10 washes. Skip.
Free People Movement Sandy Half-Zip
$78–$98

Not a true dupe (closer in price to the original) but the most-cited Scuba Half-Zip alternative. Slightly thicker fleece, same oversized silhouette.

Holds up better than Lululemon's Scuba in our experience. The build quality is comparable or better — worth it if you want oversized half-zip without the Lulu logo.

Lululemon Speed Up + Pace Breaker shorts dupes

Lulu’s running shorts — Speed Up (women’s, 2.5″–4″ inseam) and Pace Breaker (men’s, 5″–9″ inseam) — have built-in liner construction that’s the engineering behind the $68–$78 price tag. Dupes range from “actually close” to “just shorts with a liner.”

  • Baleaf Women’s 2.5″ Running Shorts ($18–$25) — closest Speed Up dupe. Same liner construction, same length options. Fabric is slightly less premium but you’re saving $50 per pair.
  • Birddogs Premium Stretch Shorts (men’s, $48–$58) — not a true Pace Breaker dupe, more of a casual-shorts brand. We covered them in our Birddogs review — not a slam-dunk recommendation.
  • Amazon Mier Men’s Running Shorts ($18–$28) — closest Pace Breaker dupe. Real liner, real running silhouette, real $50 savings. Quality is acceptable for the price.
BALEAF Women's High Waist 2-in-1 Running Shorts

Closest Speed Up dupe we've tested. Same built-in liner construction, same length options. Fabric is slightly less premium than Lulu's, but the construction is genuinely comparable.

Saves $50 per pair vs Lulu's $68 Speed Up. Available in multiple colorways and inseam lengths.

Lululemon Energy Bra + Free to Be Bra dupes

Sports bras are Lululemon’s other underrated category. The Energy Bra (high support) is $58; the Free to Be (low/medium support) is $48. Dupes here are easier than leggings because the fabric engineering bar is lower — basic sports-bra construction is well-understood across athleisure.

  • CRZ Yoga Crop Tank Bra ($22–$28) — closest Energy Bra dupe. Same compression level, similar silhouette, comparable colorways.
  • Amazon Yvette Bras ($25–$35) — high-support sports bra, popular with larger busts. Different aesthetic than Lulu but solid for actual workouts.
  • Old Navy PowerSoft Light Support ($15–$25) — budget Free to Be dupe. Acceptable for low-impact yoga, walking, casual wear.
Yvette Zip-Front High Impact Sports Bra
$34.99

Popular high-support sports bra, especially among larger busts where Lulu's Energy Bra falls short. Different aesthetic than Lululemon — more athletic, less fashion-forward — but solid for actual workouts.

Lululemon Cool Racerback + Swiftly Tech tee dupes

Quick mention for two of Lulu’s most-bought basics: the Cool Racerback tank ($48 women’s) and the Swiftly Tech tee ($68 men’s and women’s). Both have meaningful dupe markets but lower-stakes than the leggings or pants.

  • Amazon “cool seamless tank” brands ($12–$25) — closest Cool Racerback dupe. Most are made by the same handful of factories.
  • 32 Degrees Cool Tee ($12–$18) — Costco-tier Swiftly Tech dupe. Sweat-wicking, anti-odor treatment, comparable feel. Heavy discounts at Costco/Sam’s Club.
  • Tasc Performance ($28–$48) — not a dupe, an alternative. Bamboo-blend tees that some find better than Swiftly Tech for odor control.
32 Degrees Cool Tee
$12–$18

Costco-tier Swiftly Tech dupe. Sweat-wicking, anti-odor treatment, comparable feel. A solid swap for anyone wanting a $60+ Lulu Swiftly Tech experience at one-third the cost.

Heavy discounts at Costco and Sam's Club — and sometimes 32degrees.com runs site-wide blowouts that bring this to under $10.

Brands we did NOT test — and why

The dupe market is full of brands we won’t recommend, even though they show up on every “best Lululemon dupes” TikTok. Here’s the honest list of what we skipped and the reason:

Halara — we skipped because of inconsistent quality

Halara is TikTok-viral and the brand most often suggested as an Align dupe. Reviews are wildly polarized — some loved their pair, others got see-through fabric or lopsided seams. Reading dozens of Reddit threads, the consensus is that Halara’s quality varies batch-to-batch by manufacturer, which means you can’t recommend a specific pair with confidence. We may revisit if they stabilize quality control. For now, CRZ Yoga is the safer Amazon-Prime bet at the same price.

SHEIN — we skipped on ethical grounds

SHEIN sells Lululemon-look dupes for $8–$15. The fabric is genuinely usable for the price. We don’t recommend SHEIN because of well-documented labor practices, environmental impact (ultra-fast-fashion + non-recyclable synthetics + tariff loophole abuse), and the design-theft pipeline that hurts smaller brands like CRZ Yoga who actually engineered their dupes. If price is the only consideration, Old Navy or Colorfulkoala will get you to a similar price point without the ethical baggage.

Temu — same reasoning as SHEIN

Temu is another ultra-low-price marketplace selling unmarked Lulu dupes for $6–$12. Quality is on a spectrum from “astonishingly close” to “clearly counterfeit” depending on which third-party seller you draw. Same ethical concerns as SHEIN, plus a steeper return-and-shipping headache. Skip.

Costco-only Brands (Yogalicious, Tuff Athletics) — we skipped due to access

Costco’s Kirkland-tier athleisure (Yogalicious, Tuff Athletics, Mondetta) is reportedly excellent at the price. We don’t have a Costco membership, so we can’t responsibly review them — we’d be reading the package. If you’re a Costco member: try them, they’re under $25 most days, and the warehouse return policy is generous if they don’t work.

Birddogs (men’s) — we already covered separately

Birddogs gets pitched as an “ABC Pant dupe” but really they’re a different category — gym shorts and athletic-fit casuals, not stretch chinos. We covered them in our Birddogs review; tl;dr is “great marketing, mediocre pants” per the original headline. Not a real ABC dupe.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best Lululemon Align legging dupe?

CRZ Yoga Naked Feeling at $28–$45 is the closest match to Lululemon’s Nulu fabric we’ve tested. Buttery hand-feel, squat-proof, available on Amazon Prime. The waistband doesn’t have Lululemon’s contoured shape and rolls more, but the fabric is genuinely indistinguishable to most wearers.

What is the best Lululemon ABC Pant dupe?

Quince Ultra-Stretch 24/7 Chino at ~$50 is the closest fabric match for ABC Classic. Same four-way stretch, similar weight and finish. Construction is slightly less premium (seams not as clean), but the silhouette and feel pass for ABC at a glance. We cover this in depth in our ABC Pant Alternatives guide.

Are Lululemon dupes from Amazon worth it?

For Align legging dupes, yes — CRZ Yoga and Colorfulkoala are both Amazon brands and both genuinely good. For ABC Pant dupes, no — the unmarked Amazon men’s stretch chinos run wildly inconsistent on sizing. Quince at $50 (not Amazon) is the better men’s bet.

Why didn’t you test Halara, SHEIN, or Temu?

Halara: inconsistent batch-to-batch quality control means we can’t recommend a specific pair with confidence. SHEIN and Temu: ethical concerns around labor practices and environmental impact. We’d rather recommend CRZ Yoga or Old Navy at similar price points without the baggage.

What is the best Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag dupe?

Amazon Telena or Bostanten Belt Bag at $12–$18 is the closest Belt Bag dupe. Same silhouette, same zipper construction, slightly thinner nylon — but at half the price of Lulu’s $38 Everywhere Belt Bag, the trade-off is acceptable. Old Navy’s Crossbody Belt Bag is the in-store alternative, frequently 50% off.

What is the best Lululemon Scuba Hoodie dupe?

Free People Movement “Sandy” ($78–$98) is the most-cited Scuba alternative — closer in price than a true dupe, but the build quality is comparable or better. Aerie OFFLINE Half-Zip ($45–$60) is the budget option. Skip the $30–$50 Amazon oversized half-zips — they pill within 10 washes in our testing.

Are Lululemon dupes the same as Lululemon alternatives?

No. Dupes are cheap-twins designed to copy the look and feel at a much lower price (often $20–$50 vs Lulu’s $98–$128). Alternatives are different brands competing with Lululemon at comparable price points (Athleta, Vuori, Rhone, Beyond Yoga — usually $80–$140 per piece). For quality matches, see our Lululemon alternatives roundup.

How long do dupes last compared to the original?

The honest answer: less long, but not as much less as you’d expect. CRZ Yoga and Quince both hold up across 50–100 wash cycles in our experience — comparable to Lululemon. Halara, SHEIN, Temu, and most no-name Amazon brands do NOT — expect 20–30 wash cycles before pilling, fading, or stretching out. The cost-per-wear math is closer than the price tag suggests.

The bottom line

If you’re new to dupes and just want one safe pick: CRZ Yoga Naked Feeling Leggings for women, Quince Ultra-Stretch Chinos for men. Both are tested, consistent, and genuinely close to the original at half the price.

If you want quality matches and are willing to pay more than dupe-prices but less than full Lulu retail, you’re shopping for alternatives, not dupes — see our Lululemon alternatives roundup (women-leaning) or Best Lululemon Alternatives for Men (men’s-specific) instead.

And the meta-take: Lululemon’s price tag isn’t all marketing. The construction (gusseted seams, contoured waistbands, premium fabric blends) genuinely is better than every dupe we’ve tested. The question is whether you’re paying for the difference or paying for the brand. For some people on some pieces, the answer is “the dupe is fine.” For others on other pieces (specifically the Align legging waistband and ABC Pant gusset), the original is worth it on a sale.
