We had the chance to try several products from Rule of Threads:
- Their best-selling curved hem crew
- Several Short-Sleeve Henleys
- Polo Shirts
- Joggers
In short, we loved everything that we tried. But before we dive deep into each item, let’s talk about one of the reason we loved Rule of Threads: their actual rules.

The very first thing you will love about Rule of Threads (or ROT, for short), clothing is the super-unique fabric.
Rule of Threads is quickly becoming renowned for their unique fabrics. The micro-ribbed fabric is used in their shirst and you’ll notice it the second you put it on.
The fabric is stretchy and soft, making it extremely comfortable to wear. In addition, the fabric is also very breathable, keeping you cool and comfortable even in the hottest weather.

Rule of Threads (or ROT, for short), is known for their t-shirts – both regular crew neck and henley designs.
Let’s talk about our favorite first: the curved henley.
ROT Curved Henley Review
Rule of Threads’ Curve Hem Henley T-Shirt is the brand’s elevated design for the best-selling curve hem style. This shirt is more formal than a crew neck and not as formal as a polo, making it the perfect addition to any closet. The minimal design and perfect fit will make this shirt a go-to in any wardrobe.
Seriously, it's tough to find anything wrong with this henley. It's got a classic look, minimal branding, and feels fantastic. Best yet - it's only $28!
I frequently wear Henley shirts for this very reason on zoom calls: they aren’t as dressy as a polo, but wearing a plain t-shirt, just seems sloppy to me.
ROT Polo Review
Made from the same micro-ribbed fabric as the Henley, this Rule of Thread’s Polo is the perfect shirt for any man who wants to feel stylish and comfortable at the same time.
Made with ultra-luxe fabric, this polo features the signature R.O.T. fit that can be worn all day long. Whether you’re headed to the office, the golf course, or out on a date, this is the shirt that will have you looking your best.
Another top pick from Rule of Threads. You seriously can't go wrong with this polo.
I like this polo shirt a lot more than traditional 100% cotton ones for a simple reason: no bacon collar. Everyone hates that!
The light sand color that I tried wasn’t my favorite, but the shirt was great besides that.
ROT Jogger
I don’t know why, but I’m super late to the jogger game.
Rule of Threads’ Premium Jogger is the all-day everyday jogger choice that’s perfect for anyone who loves Athleisure x Streetwear.
These joggers are comfortable and fit great. Another great product from Rule of Threads.
The premium fabric is unlike anything you’ve ever felt before, and it can be worn at the home, the gym, or anywhere else the day takes you. You’ll find yourself wanting to wear these joggers all day every day because they’re so comfortable and stylish. Trust us – once you try them on, you’ll be a believer!
ROT Curved Crew Neck
The Curve Hem Crew T-shirt is the #1 ROT best-seller. However, it wasn’t our favorite for one small reason: the neck was slightly tighter than I expected.
A great shirt, we just had one small gripe: the crew neck was a little tight for our liking.
Now, this shirt isn’t going to choke you – but it is a bit more constrictive than other t-shirts we love (check out our Buck Mason T-Shirt Review or our Fresh Clean Tees Review for some other great brands – even check out our new True Classic Tees Review, too).
In fact, I was all done shooting the video review of ROT and was about to pack up my equipment. Then I tried on the Crew and it surprised me at how tight the neck was.
I don’t think I have a super large neck or anything, but just something that I’d want to know if I was in your shoes.
If you are worried about it – start with a henley, v-neck or polo – you’ll love the shirts.
Rule of Threads Review: Final Thoughts
Curved Henleys and Curved T-Shirts are literally cool to the touch. Super comfortable and well made.
To be honest, I get a ton of requests to review different clothes ,and I just promise to give you my honest opinion. I was intrigued by ROT for a couple of reasons:
- The price point was so low, I had to make sure they weren’t too good to be true.
- I love supporting veteran-owned businesses. I just make YouTube Reviews, veterans are out there doing the real work.
I even asked Chris Hill, the CEO + Founder of Rule of Threads if he could pass along a couple of styles for my brother-in-law, who is in the army. He was happy to.
In short, I really did love almost everything about Rule of Threads. The only thing that was a bit surprising (and not even bad) was the crew neck’s neck was a little tight for my liking. Once again, not a deal killer, but something I would like to know if I was considering this brand.
But, the micro-ribbed fabric is simply amazing. It’s a slightly heavier weight, but also allows for it to feel cool to the touch and is very breathable.
